Magic in the streets of Santiago

Video You raise me up in the streets of Santiago

all she asks is listeners
in the old town evening

history's shadow

The old shops of Spain

Somewhat hidden in the old inner cities of Spain you might find the treasure of an old shop where time has stopped. With a friendly lady or man who seems to have forgotten about selling stock.

Oviedo

Must have been there at least thirty years

Is it a shop or a bar?

My all-time favourite: Castrojeriz. The lovely owner. He sells anything, everything.

One of the billions of small delivery trucks

To meet someone

The Spaniard shows us how he cuts sweet chestnuts to prepare them for dinner. One of these fine moments of meeting people.

Waiting until the church door opens

This is León. My favourite city on the Road. León was founded by the Romans in the year 70 to protect the Galician goldmines. The city was the seat of the Seventh Legion, whence the name Le(gi)ón.
